Review of Superintendent Hugh Hattabaugh submitted by a teacher on February 1, 2012:

Approve?: Yes

Review (summary): Is working hard to clean up Peter Gorman's mess.

Review (complete): Mr. Hattabaugh is only an interim but I think he has done the district well in what short time he has fulfilled the role. After years of layoffs, he announced there would be no budget cuts for 2012. He also scrapped the controversial pay for performance plan that was heavily touted by Dr. Peter Gorman. It's taking some time it looks like he is weeding out much of the poor administrators that are in the schools. There is much work left to be done. Although he says he is not interested, I think he should reconsider being a candidate for the permanent superintendent position. I'm really impressed with what he has done so far and think that the longer he is charge, the better the district will be.
