Please review this assistant principal in your own words:
Anastasia Chavez kissed ass to be given an authoritative role by Anne Brinkley the principal. What's funny is the fact that Chavez was actually on an action plan when Brinkley came on as principal. What was the action plan for you ask? Well, it turns out that Chavez was having difficulty getting along with her colleagues. When a new principal came aboard, Chavez had her action plan absolved and was given a position on the school leadership team. The more power she is given, the more out of control she gets. She was recently promoted from a teacher to being the school's test administrator. The first meeting in which she held this role was insane. I was embarrassed for her. She lashed out at the staff and told them they need to get themselves in order. Anastasia Chavez is in every sense of the word a 100% pure bonafide bully. She even was given the certificate of biggest bully to prove it. She is most unpleasant to work with. She will pretend to be your friend but will then turn around and stab you in the back. Whatever you do, don't trust her. She is a drama queen and likes to stir up whatever she can to cause trouble. It is saddening to see that she has gone on to get her administrative license and that she is pursuing the opportunity for further advancement. Its people like Anastasia Chavez that are proof positive of the fact that a dark day now hovers over the education field. God help the children and the staff she who she will be in charge of when she does become an assistant principal or even a principal down the road.
What advice would you give to a teacher working with this assistant principal?
Don't trust her. She is notorious for being a backstabber. She will smile to your face, but then stir up trouble behind your back. She is a bully in each and every sense of the word. Don't let her bully you. If she tries, record what she says and turn it into the proper district authorities downtown.
