About Teacher Voice / FAQ

1. What is Teacher Voice?

Teacher Voice is a website where teachers can safely express themselves and communicate with other teachers to provide helpful information about school working conditions, school administrators, and teaching job interviews. Specifically, it's a place for K-12 teachers to anonymously review their schools' working environment and the school administrators with whom they work. Teachers can also help other teachers prepare for a job interview by describing their own job interview experiences and listing job interview questions that they were asked.

2. Who created Teacher Voice and why?

I created Teacher Voice when I was a new teacher looking for a job. I wanted to know more information about various schools and school districts, especially from the perspective of teachers who work there. I also wanted to be more prepared for job interviews. I felt that other teachers would have similar concerns and benefit from a site that lists school reviews by teachers for teachers.

3. How do I submit an anonymous review on Teacher Voice?

1). Go to the Home Page or one of the section pages (School Reviews, Teacher Interview Questions, Principal Reviews, Superintendent Reviews, or Union Reviews).

2). Enter what you're looking for (zip code / school / district / school administrator) in the search box.

3). Click on the school / district / principal / superintendent you are looking for, then click the Review Submission link and write your review.

4. Why the name Teacher Voice?

Teacher Voice gives teachers a voice.
